The Gym is awesome I am new to Louisiana. People are pretty cool. Always clean, my routine is 4:45- 7:30am Sunday- Saturday I try to take a break but just keep pushing myself. Any ways, it’s a cool place check it out. Make that “ New Years Resolution “ “Get Fit”
I got a PF black card at this location about a month ago.
I initially gave this location a good rating and 4 stars when I first started going but the past several times going I'm changing it and will be changing locations..
It's been very busy at this location even after 10pm.
I wasn't able to use the equipment I needed last time I went because there's so many people sitting on it. They're all just on their phones not working out, I waited 15 minutes or even longer to use the equipment and no one would get off. I finally just left and went to a different location. I understand needing a minute but seriously sitting there for 20 minutes is just rude and inconsiderate.
I chose PF mainly because of the perks, so far the stand up tanning bed has been broken at this location for a whole month. They have no intentions to fix it either.
The total body enhancement machine was making a weird noise, I've used it more than 4 times, it didn't seem like it was working correctly last time I used it. It also has been very stinky in there. No one is probably cleaning after they use it, you're supposed to.
The hydro massage beds were not working the past few times going.
The parking lot is well lit.
You're sometimes welcomed when you walk in the door and leaving. It depends on who's working.
The employees are always at the front desk for any questions.
I haven't used the showers or bathrooms yet but locker room area has been clean.
I've seen a lot of people get done with their workouts and not clean after themselves. Which you're supposed to do.
I received a call/voicemail from a personal trainer from PT saying welcome! Which I find really nice that she took the time out of her day to do that.
I'm a beginner, the equipment is easy to use and extremely self explanatory.. if you're a beginner I would recommend joining a PF, just probably not this one. Lol
I have seen a few of the equipment say out of order, but it's not been anything that I've wanted to use so far.
Fine place for a budget, for those of us who can't afford private gyms. Really crowded no matter the time lately, but do like the machines they've upgraded. Unfortunately the TVs play nothing but hateful news stations promoting racism and judgment nowadays, so I have to stare into the middle distance while working out. Employees are generally nice and greet, have seen friendly trainers around. Probably will move to different gym if I keep getting fox news stuffed down my throat every day though...
The 2-level floor plan is very conducive to having a great workout without feeling any crowd pressure. This is among the better PF locations.

Some of the machines are a bit stiff and feel a little rusty in the gears. I also wish it had a better stretch/ab zone like some of the others I've been to. Other than that it's clean, spacious, lots of machines, friendly, good vibe.
Update: new equipment. They have included a better ab/stretch zone. There is an open area upstairs that used to have some equipment that is perfect to take a mat into for some yoga or whatever. I'm impressed.
I joined about a month ago and really love it. The facility is clean, modern and equipment options are seemingly endless. The hydro massage beds are amazing, especially after a work out session. Staff members have always been friendly. The only gripe i have are the occasional people that will sit at a machine and play on their phone (not Planet Fitness's fault) and that is annoying, but luckily not a huge issue.....just an annoyance. I have the Black Card membership and it is 100% worth it.
This facility is amazing there are two levels especially if you have a black card is 10/10 must recommend great atmosphere the people that work there so accommodating massage chairs tables tanning booths personal trainers if your focus and you trying to get yourself together and 10/10 must recommend
